I’m thinking of swinging by the Brooklyn Museum this weekend to check out the progress of artist Sun K. Kwak’s Enfolding 280 Hours. Officially opening on March 27th, the site specific work is composed of approximately three miles of black masking tape and takes its title from the hours the artist estimates it will take her to install the piece. Once the show is over, the masking tape will be peeled off the walls and discarded.
