I just bought tickets to see Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, another dance company I studied in college but haven’t yet had the chance to see live. Founded in 1974, the company performs a full modern and ballet repertoire en travesti. Their faithful renditions of classic works like Swan Lake, Death and Entrances, and Stars and Stripes Forever, are not only skillfully danced but deliver great satire of dance and dance culture. (My personal fav is The Dying Swan. It’s just too good.) Go! I promise, they’ll make you laugh. Read more on the Trocks here.
