I’m what one would call a mixtape aficionado. I have made dozens, maybe hundreds, over my lifetime.

But something about sending a mix in the all-digital world just…sucks. Where’s the fretting over picking perfect cover art? Where’s the anxiety of only being able to squeeze in 12 songs when the thirteenth REALLY sells it?

And most of all, where’s the personal touch, the killer move of slipping the one you desire a tape made JUST for them, one that nobody else will ever hear?

All of those things drove us here at Hard Candy Shell to create Sleeve.FM.

Sleeve is a simple site: Pick 12 songs (from Rdio’s database - Spotify will be along as soon as their API plays nicer), pick some album art, and share your unique link. Only those who have the link can listen or even see the mix - even if it’s just one very special recipient.
