I’m thinking of swinging by the Brooklyn Museum this weekend to check out the progress of artist Sun K. Kwak’s Enfolding 280 Hours. Officially opening on March 27th, the site specific work is composed of approximately three miles of black masking tape and takes its title from the hours the artist estimates it will take her to install the piece. Once the show is over, the masking tape will be peeled off the walls and discarded.

Inspired by the urge to write all over the backdrop of this pic, I just bought a Walls Notebook from the. It’s a sketchbook with 80 New York City walls to scribble on. I can’t wait. 

Recently, I was telling my girlfriends about how I used to own, and love, Rappin’ Rockin’ Barbie. Today, this showed up at my office courtesy of the lovely Mary. Too awesome!

I’m loving the beautiful collection of recipes on The Jewels of New York. I can’t stop daydreaming about making the Guinness Braised Short Ribs with Turnip Puree and Glazed Carrots.  (Thank you Sarah for the find)
