072609 - Goods4Good Beach Day at The Suffolk.
br clear="all">

After hearing Annie and Ben of Greenpoint’s Rooftop Farms speak last night, I’m more keen than ever to have my own NYC garden. In the meantime, I plan on stopping by their farm Sunday morning for a peek (and some veggies).

The mission of NY based collective Macro-Sea is to “develop projects we find interesting.” What have they been working on recently? Converting old dumpsters into urban swimming pools in Brooklyn!!! So rad I can hardly contain myself.

Went to Vinegar Hill House for the first time last night. The food was excellent. If you go, I’d recommend the Country Chop and a side of the Roasted Beets. Delissssh.
![Featuring 5,000 pounds of sand, beach chairs, tiki torches and a rumored outdoor shower, The Suffolk Beach Bar on the LES looks kind of amazing. [As an aside, G4G is throwing a beach bash here later this month. Should be fun, if you’d like to come along.]](http://28.media.tumblr.com/U2Vu7uW2Upw6br2bMzkFKl08o1_500.jpg)
